Interested in the history of Toronto?
Bring your walking shoes and meet us at our office for a tour of Toronto. We will end the tour at the office, where we will enjoy some well-deserved appetizers and drinks! If the walking tour isn’t for you, join us at our office at 6:00pm to meet the Brainers, take a tour of our 8000+ sq ft office, have some refreshments, and start your conference off right.
Day 1 // Thursday, October 17, 2019
|8:30-9:15||Registration & Breakfast|
|9:15-9:45||Opening & Welcome|
|5:30-9:00||Dinner & Activities|
We have rented La Maquette, a beautiful event space located across the street from the Cathedral Centre, for dinner and a couple fun (optional) activities on Thursday night. It is a unique space in Toronto - a 2 storey Art Deco building overlooking a fantastic patio and sculpture garden. We will have the space to ourselves and it is always a highlight of the conference. You won’t want to miss it!
Day 2 // Friday, October 18, 2019
|8:30-9:15||Optional One-on-One’s & Continental Breakfast|
|1:00-2:30||Lunch & Open Q&A|
Every year, one-on-one sessions are consistently a highlight for BRAINSTORM participants. Dedicated periods where you sit with a Brainer and dive into your CampBrain configuration, this face-to-face time is the perfect opportunity for you to get your questions answered. Remember to sign up for a spot in advance!
"I had a blast! I thought it was so well organized and professionally done. I was able to take away so much new information and have already started applying it to our application process. It was eye opening to meet admins from across North America and see the unique ways they utilize the software. You did a wonderful job of balancing professional development and fun. Thank you!!"
You are coming to this conference to learn, right? Well, we will deliver! Panels of camp admins and group discussions will encourage peer-to-peer learning. Workshops will allow for hands-on-learning (bring your laptop!). And of course, we will teach new concepts, lecture-style. As always, there will be plenty of opportunities to meet with a Brainer for a one-on-one session to dig into your CampBrain setup.
Here’s what you can expect:
"Wonderful conference! Great content, interesting sessions, good variety of topics and information to cover. Presenters did a great job presenting the information so it was easy to understand and were open to all questions. I said it once, but I am happy to say it again...Well Done CampBrain!! Thank you!"
We have not reserved a block of rooms at any particular hotel but we recommend you stay at one of two hotels. Both are located within a 5 minute walk of the conference location and cost around $250 per night (CDN$). Click here to print a hotel summary.
