|6:00-7:30||Drinks and Appetizers at the CampBrain Office|
Interested in some of the history of Toronto?
Then bring your walking shoes and show up a bit earlier at our offices for a tour of Toronto, ending right back where we started for some well-deserved appetizers and drinks! But don’t sweat it if a walking tour isn’t for you, head straight to our offices at 6:00pm for a very informal and light evening to see where we work, chat with Brainers and start the conference off right.
Day 1 // Thursday, October 11, 2018
|8:30-9:15||Registration & Breakfast|
|9:15-9:45||Opening & Welcome|
|5:30-9:00||Dinner & Activities|
We have rented La Maquette for the evening. Situated right across the street from The Cathedral, we will have dinner and fun activities to do throughout the evening. It is a really unique space in Toronto – art deco, 2 stories and has an overlooking Sculpture Garden. We have the whole space to ourselves and it will be an exciting night to remember. You won’t want to miss it!
Day 2 // Friday, October 12, 2018
|8:30-9:15||Optional One-on-One’s & Continental Breakfast|
|1:00-2:30||Lunch & Open Q&A|
A highlight of participants BRAINSTORM is always their One-on-One session. It is time that you get with a Brainer where they will delve completely into your organization's configuration. This is a perfect time to come ready with all your specific questions based on your unique setup. Remember to sign up for a spot - this will be one of your biggest takeaways!
"I had a blast! I thought it was so well organized and professionally done. I was able to take away so much new information and have already started applying it to our application process. It was eye opening to meet admins from across North America and see the unique ways they utilize the software. You did a wonderful job of balancing professional development and fun. Thank you!!"
You are coming to the conference to learn, right?! Well, we will deliver! Panels of camp admins and group discussions will enable peer-to-peer learning. Workshops will be used to promote real hands-on learning (bring your laptop!). And, of course, sometimes we will teach new concepts, lecture-style. We have provided lots of time for one-on-one sessions to review your specific setup and questions (this is a much-LOVED aspect each year!).
Here’s a sense of some of the focus areas:
"Wonderful conference! Great content, interesting sessions, good variety of topics and information to cover. Presenters did a great job presenting the information so it was easy too understand and were open to all questions. I said it once, but I am happy to say it again...Well Done CampBrain!! Thank you!"
We have not reserved a block of rooms at any particular hotel but we recommend you stay at one of two hotels. Both are located within a 5 minute walk of the conference location and cost around $250 per night (CDN$). Click here to print a hotel summary.
