So, we will be announcing the first inductee into the Hall tomorrow. It is very exciting to see this initiative at this stage. It started as a thought last Spring, a back-of-the-envelope idea…it felt right and we went with it! We were really unsure about how it would all work out.

Frankly, I could not be more pleased with the results:

While there were 35 nominees identified for this voting process, I hope we helped to focus the attention for a few moments on the fabulous contributions made by all camp administrators. By its nature, the role is often behind the scenes, out of the spotlight – it’s nice to bring it to the forefront for a while.

I would like to take a moment to thank our nominators. Our to-do lists can take no more items, our inboxes are stuffed, our voicemails full…there are always a million things to do. It would have been very easy to let this item remain off the list and continue to focus on the long list already there. Instead, they chose to embrace it, write sincerely about someone else’s contribution and be a part of the process. Thanks. I am confident it was well worth the time and effort!

As I said at the beginning of this process in August, it is the act of nominating that is the real prize. I know this is cliché but there are 35 “winners” here.

We will announce the inductee to the Hall tomorrow. Stay tuned.

Love your Software…and your Camp Administrator,

Rob
