Online Registration Service Continues Incredible Growth
The number of clients using CampBrain’s online registration service grew by approximately 40% from Summer 2008 to Summer 2009. The growth of online registration across the industry has been quite remarkable, both in the number of camps offering the service to their customers and the percentage of customers actually using the service when it is offered. There are some very clear benefits to the service:
- Parents and registrants love the convenience and ease of use; they can reuse their account throughout the year and into the future, reducing their work and creating a stronger tie to your camp.
- Registrants can register and pay, come back later to complete other forms like the medical form or transportation form; staff can apply online.
- Camp administrators appreciate that the data entry is being done for them! More time can be devoted to more important tasks than entering data.
- Since customers can complete any and all forms online, receive confirmations and invoices by e-mail, mailing costs are reduced (and the time spent creating those mailings!).

We have noted that some of our clients have simply stopped offering a paper registration form - 100% online registration. In addition, clients may open registration earlier than prior years due to the simplicity and effectiveness of the solution.
