New Features Available


We have released our latest enhancements to CampBrain. Here is a brief summary:

  • Improved Parent Matching – Taking into account the fact that parents/registrants are not consistent in how they enter their data online, particularly from one year to the next, we have improved the matching within the system to provide the most accurate household information with the fewest duplicates possible.
  • Smarter Online Forms – The forms section of the online registration system now opens further fields based on the customer’s response to certain questions. You no longer need all fields to be displayed and open. If the field does not apply, then it will not be displayed to the customer. These have been expanded beyond just checkboxes – radio buttons and drop-downs may also be used. Depending on the customer’s selection, further fields may be opened to collect more information, as necessary.
  • Single Selection Sessions - Individual camps on the cart can be set to be single-selectable. In other words, customers may only choose one session.
  • Concurrency check on specified camps - Camps set with this flag will have their sessions checked against one another for a start-end date conflict. In other words, customers cannot register for 2 sessions happening simultaneously.
  • Turn-off date/time for Sessions and Session Options - We now have the ability to establish “turn off date and time” for all available Sessions and Session Options online. This feature is very helpful for those clients who do not want to worry about remembering when to go into CampBrain to turn off a session or a session option.
  • Social Networking Integration – We have integrated Facebook, Twitter and other social networking tools into the online registration system. When a customer completes a registration, they can post that instantly to their Facebook Wall or Tweet it the info. Alternatively, they can also invite a friend via email with one step.
  • Online Downloaded Information – We have drastically enhanced the ability to view, edit and print all online information provided by the registrant. All data entered online by the registrant can be viewed as entered or can be extracted as individual pieces for reporting purposes. Ease of use and viewing was our focus with this enhancement.
  • Cabinizer Enhancement – Our popular Cabinizer module has been enhanced to now display campers in a visually obvious way when identified by a specific camper to not be bunked together (use of a strikethrough).
  • Year End - We updated the year-end process in a number of ways including new management over the updating of staff statuses, staff qualifications, staff bonuses, overflow information from online, more control over carry forward balances, addition of help buttons throughout and new options for setting desktop icons for archives.
  • Reports Search Capability - We have added a search box at the bottom of the report list. This helps users to easily filter all of the related reports based on keywords, such as cabin, medical, etc.

Happy Campers!

Just wanted to drop a note to say how amazing you all are and how great CampBrain is. I just did the year end roll over and it was SO EASY!...CampBrain just keeps getting better and better. But don't get better too fast - you're making the administration side of things so easy that soon the director will figure it out and I'll be out of a job!
