Donor Module Released


CampBrain is pleased to announce the release of its newest module - donors. This is the ideal addition for our non-profit clients who want one database to manage their entire operation!

The main purpose of the Donor module is to track donors and their pledges and gifts. This module is fully integrated with the other parts of the software so you are not creating duplicate records for an individual or group that may have multiple relationships with you (e.g. staff member + donor + parent of camper). The concept is that you have one record for an individual even though they may interact with your operation in several ways. In reality, a significant percentage of most camps’ potential donors comes from people with whom they already have a relationship and who are already in their main database (e.g. parent of a camper, staff, alumni, school group, company, board member, inquiry, newsletter recipient, etc.). This model results in less duplication and data entry, more professional communication with your constituents, more efficient analysis capabilities and better overall reporting. The Donor module is ideal for those clients operating a camp and/or conference center that do not want a separate database for their donors. Here is a summary of some of the features:

  • Track Donors - Record all of the required information for your individual and company donors. Tag each donor into an unlimited number of categories (e.g. board member, committee chair, etc.). Review the donor profile to see the relevant donation history (e.g. largest, most recent, yearly total, etc.).
  • Record Pledges and Donations - Use the pledge wizard to setup pledges and their installments - record frequency, start date, end date, amounts and let CampBrain automatically establish the schedule. Allocate donations to pledges and categorize each one by campaign and fund.
  • Produce Receipts and Acknowledgements - Easily produce receipts in accordance with the U.S. and Canadian guidelines. Generate �thank you� letters and acknowledgements and let the system track the status for each donation.
  • Communicate with Constituents - Use the communication log to document conversations, e-mails, etc. with each constituent. Review all communication in one screen and set ticklers for staff.
  • Proactively Raise Funds - Analyse donor activity (e.g. who gives the most often, who gives the most, who has not given in a while). Target mailings and e-mails to selected groups. Solicit funds from constituents other than your normal donors. Using the extensive reporting capabilities, CampBrain will enhance your ability to efficiently raise more money.
