CampBrain Version 5
CampBrain releases Version 5, its most significant upgrade in a number of years. Over 1 year in the “making”, Version 5 includes some fantastic enhancements and a completely new look.

The New Look - You cannot help but notice the brand new look! Beyond the benefit of a better layout, we also enhanced general navigation through the software to make it more flexible. The minimum screen resolution has been increased to 1024 X 768.
Donor Information Module - Our highly anticipated fundraising piece is here! Now, any person or organization in your database is a potential donor, without duplicating your data entry. Record pledges and donations, keep track of funds and campaign goals, print receipts (one-off or annual), print acknowledgement letters, and so much more! This module is sold for an additional price.
Online Registration - Increased Parent Efficiency - Information that parents have already provided the last time they registered their camper(s) online can now automatically fill in, saving them time. This feature existed previously for basic information (e.g. phone number) but now it exists for all fields online. They will also have the ability to log back in any time after completing their registration to fill in any additional forms. For example, if you have put a medical form online, parents will be able to first register their camper(s) months before camp starts and then shortly before arrival day, go back online and fill in the medical information that you require.
Enhanced Alumni Management - A brand new area was created to track more detail on your alumni including their camper and staff history, spouse info, and lots of room for your own customized fields. CampBrain will automatically update their history with your camp, but will also allow you to manually update their records.
Contact Management - Log all of your contacts (e.g. phone calls, e-mails, letters) with families, groups, staff, etc. and view the communication in one screen. At your fingertips you’ll know what has been communicated, create to-do lists and have reports to remind you that follow-up action is required.
Reporting - We have enhanced reporting significantly, making it easier to select criteria and see a summary of that chosen criteria. You can save your most commonly used selections. We have made literally every field in CampBrain available for criteria selection, including any fields from customized tables. Easy to use yet extremely powerful!
Duplicate Checker - CampBrain will search for possible duplicates as you enter a new record and it presents an unobtrusive pop-up if it identifies one. You can switch to that record or ignore it if it is not a duplicate.
Database Structure - We have made significant structural changes to the database, and the most noticeable benefit of this is that one record in your database can now be multiple types: Family, Staff, Donor and/or Alumni; or an Organization and Donor. You will be able to more easily keep your database free of duplicate records and one individual can have multiple roles (e.g. a parent of a camper, a donor and a volunteer).
