CampBrain Version 4.18
CampBrain releases Version 4.18. Continuing to enhance the online experience of your customers and the operational efficiency of your staff, CampBrain has made some significant enhancements. Generally, clients receive upgrades on a semi-annual or annual basis to ensure they have the latest features and to ensure compatibility with the latest technology.
Some of the new features include:
New Online Registration – Our brand new Online Registration product was released in March 2006. Further enhancements were made in the months since then. This tool provides your customers the ability to interact, complete forms and transact online. In fact, the main benefit of this service is the outstanding customer service feature, the convenient and professional service provided to your customers. Reduced administration is also a significant benefit – registrations download directly to your CampBrain database. Other features of the online registration include: your exact application forms are replicated online; payments may be processed in a secure, real-time environment or downloaded to your database; you have complete control over session capacities from within your CampBrain database; registrants may register again in the future and use their saved information; you may use your existing credit card merchant account.
Capacity Updating Online - You may now update online session and program capacities right from your CampBrain database – you do not need to use the online portal anymore. One place to view and manage capacities!
Credit Card Encryption – You have the option of encrypting all credit card numbers. If you choose this option, you will not see the full credit card number again once you have entered it for the first time. You will see the final 4 digits and you will be able to charge that credit card again. You have all the convenience previously enjoyed without the risk of displaying the actual credit card number. We have used the latest and best in encryption methods and the unencrypted credit card number is not stored anywhere in the database.
Screen Re-Sizing – The software’s native resolution for most screens is 800 X 600. This means that your computer’s screen resolution would need to have that setting for the software to fill your entire screen. Since most people use a screen resolution of 1024 X 768 or higher, CampBrain will not fill your entire screen. With the addition of screen resizing, you will now be able to maximize the CampBrain screen to your full screen. In fact, you will be able to resize the screen to your preferred size. Position your mouse along any of the edges or corners of CampBrain and “drag” the screen to your preferred size once you see the arrow. CampBrain will remember the size you have set and maintain that for you.
Camper Reporting - Camper History – In Camper Reporting, on the History tab, the Cabin has been added. This allows you to do even more specific history based camper reporting. For example, you may use this field to identify all campers in a particular cabin during a specific session in the prior years.
Camper Reporting - Camper Transportation – In Camper Reporting, on the Transportation tab, we have added select fields from the Camper Transportation module. This will provide greater flexibility when selecting criteria in the reporting screens. For example, you will be able to choose the bus(es) you want prior to proceeding to the report list.
View List - You Can Print It! – You may now print the View List grid in any of the reporting screens. You can also highlight cells on the grid and copy them to the clipboard. This is intended to provide a very quick way to print or copy a list of records that you have identified using the reporting criteria. You will be able to select the fields you want displayed from the pre-determined field list. You will also be able to adjust the pre-determined field list for this feature by adjusting the underlying database query.
Move Groups to Another Organization - We have added a feature in the Outdoor and Conference Center module that enables you to move a group from one organization record to another organization record. Simply right-click on the group name in the bottom right corner of the organization screen and you will see the option to move the group..
