CampBrain Releases New Online Registration System and Version 5.2 of its Management Software

It has been a busy year! Never content with the status quo, CampBrain developed a new online registration system from scratch! Previously, we had integrated a system developed by a third party company for this particular service. Wanting closer integration of all aspects of our solution, more rapid development, advanced features and a product that reflected the CampBrain-style, we brought it completely in-house. Some of the quick highlights:

• We are still known for our ability to accommodate incredible flexibility in registration options with our multi-tiered registration engine (e.g. daily registration, tiered pricing, discounts, multiple and overlapping sessions, multiple camps, sub-programs… no problem!)
• PCI compliant
• Fabulous payment options including pre-arranged multiple installments and return to pay alternatives
• Registrants can complete a basic registration form and return later to complete remaining forms (e.g. medical form, transportation form)
• Staff and volunteer applications
• Automated confirmation e-mail with attachments
• User accounts allowing registrants to save their work and return later to complete
• Capacity management and waitlists

With the release of Version 5.2, we continue to provide the richest and most fully-featured experience in the camp management software market. Some highlights:

• Improved Contact Log - based on great user feedback, we enhanced this feature and made it more accessible throughout all of the screens
• Better Credit Card Security - moving beyond encryption (which is a great security measure), we now don’t have to store the credit card information at all; once the transaction is processed, we simply store a unique “code” and if you need to charge that card again or refund it, then the system sends that code to the payment gateway; no risk, maximum flexibility and convenience.
• Windows 7 - we’re ready for it
• Standard Reports - widely known as the best reporting engine in the business, we continued to expand our dominance here and added over 50 standard reports to the system; of course, you can always customize your own but it’s nice to have the “best of the best” ready to go
• Lots of small items - serving approximately 1000 camps, we receive some fabulous suggestions; too numerous to mention here, a lot of small but convenient improvements have been made as well
