About Us

We have been developing and supporting CampBrain, Camp Management Software and Online Registration, since 1994. Camps throughout North America (and around the world) have been using the software since that time. CampBrain is a member of the American Camp Association, the Ontario Camping Association, the Christian Camp and Conference Association, CCI/Canada, International Association of Conference Center Administrators, Diabetes Camping Association and the Western Association of Independent Camps.

CampBrain is a camp company committed to the camp community. The principals of CampBrain, Shane Miskin and Rob Carmichael, have been actively involved in the camp community for many years. They have volunteered their time to the Ontario and Canadian Camping Associations and assisted in the organization of many OCA conferences. They have helped in the education of camp professionals as speakers at the OCA, ACA Tri-State, ACA Mid-States, ACA National, ACA Southeast, CCCA, and DCA conferences and as contributors to Camping magazine, Canada Camps magazine and the OCA newsletter. For several years, Shane was a volunteer camp counselor at Camp Oochigeas, a summer camp for children living with cancer.
