As we just sat here exploring our newly enabled staff database and reflecting on what campbrain has meant to us (seriously…it has changed our workload in ways I cannot explain), my assistant director Lesley just told me that “ CampBrain is like………..…..heaven….”!  Just thought it might make you all smile over there, please pass it along to all staff and know that you all are appreciated for your efforts and how you help make our work easier!!

Let me begin by saying how smoothly our season went - in a large part because of CampBrain!! We all just love it! It’s unbelievably easy to work with and provides us with all the reports and information we need.

How did I ever operate without CampBrain? We made over 2,572 bus and group changes during this past summer. They were quick, easy and error free. What a great way to organize! I must say, working with CampBrain is a great experience. Every single person I’ve talked to has been so helpful and enthusiastic. The product is great too. I can’t say enough good things!

After evaluating other software companies, Camp Conrad-Chinnock chose CampBrain. My evaluations indicated, which is now verified by using CampBrain, that report and data customizations are easy to change since they are based in Microsoft Access; the staff, especially Rob Carmichael and Shane Miskin, are incredibly helpful, responsive, and assist me with modifying reports and data to meet my camp’s needs; and I am able to use the database for my fundraising activities. One element I did not initially consider was how CampBrain streamlined various procedures (cabin lists, store operations, bus lists, mailing labels, special needs information, etc.), which saves my camp many hours of labor and eliminates inaccurate reports. With continual upgrades, “The Brain”, as my staff refers to it, is growing to meet the needs of Camp Conrad-Chinnock. Why choose any other software?

I am extremely impressed with CampBrain. Having used many different kinds of computer programs over the years, CampBrain stands out as not only a program that is easy to learn, but also meets the demands of even the most advanced user. Even novice users can easily customize the user-defined fields for specific needs. And for us advanced users with MS Access experience, the ability to add and modify our own customized queries and reports is very much appreciated. CampBrain is a wonderful tool not only for our Summer Camp registrations, but also for our Outdoor Education visits and Weekend Group Rentals.

It’s almost as if CampBrain has been eavesdropping on us for the past 6 months, because CampBrain has resolved each and every frustration we have had with camper registration and other software systems. The financial reporting capabilities are so exceptional that our accountant has never been happier! There is no good reason why every camp shouldn’t be using CampBrain software - it’s reasonably priced, incredibly easy to use and has increased our registration and reporting efficiency tenfold. Hooray for CampBrain!!!

CampBrain is simply the best thing that has ever happened to our administration. This program does exactly what is needed at every level of organization. Invoicing is done flawlessly, all the possible lists that are needed are produced effortlessly, and functions that would normally require hours can be completed in seconds. This is a program that has been built on the experiences of a large number of camps, and consequently reflects a powerful and extremely intuitive approach to the administrative needs of small or large camps. CampBrain is the finest tool we could find to completely manage our camp operations. Not only is it easy to understand and use, it allows us to manipulate all the data we gather from camp and staff in the most effective and efficient manner. In addition, CampBrain has allowed us to use that same data to study market conditions and registration trends, and thus to direct our advertising strategies. It is obvious that the programmers of this dynamic program have worked with many different camps to provide us with a complete system that has the ability to be expanded to meet our specific needs.

Shane Miskin’s keen personal interest in camping has coupled with his professional skill in database management programming to create a user-friendly program for camp directors who are more interested in camping than camp administration. Our camp registrar appreciates the logical, easy-to-follow screens for data input and the ability to generate new or modify old reports as needed. CampBrain operates as an extra staff member in the office performing update, filing, collating, analytical and retrieval operations that have taken staff hours to accomplish in the past. CampBrain has enhanced many aspects of our camp operation and influenced our planning in many areas from marketing and business management to programming and record keeping.

Just wanted to drop a note to say how amazing you all are and how great CampBrain is. I just did the year end roll over and it was SO EASY!...CampBrain just keeps getting better and better.

But don’t get better too fast - you’re making the administration side of things so easy that soon the director will figure it out and I’ll be out of a job!

We’ve been using Camp Brain since it began in 1994 and have always been impressed by both the functionality and ease-of-use of the software. New staff never have a problem figuring out how to use it, and older staff are always discovering more things it can do. Camp Brain worked closely with us in those early days making sure that we had a database tool that met our needs. What’s more is that Camp Brain is always able to help us create custom elements and solve any technical issues very quickly, which helps us to be sure not to miss a beat when the office gets busy.

I feel like a technical wizard, a computer genius, because everything is so easy to figure out, and I am the most computer illiterate person ever. We LOVE the software!

CampBrain has enabled us to cut our computer time by 75%, has simplified our information streaming and increased our efficiency by 75% and most important, CampBrain has helped us to be where we should be - with our campers and our staff!

I can’t tell you how well my summer went with CampBrain. I’m not used to such a smooth camp season. I love the program, the Directors love the program and I can’t thank you and the guys enough for introducing me to CampBrain.
